Magnetic particle examination
After a superficial cleaning, the white contrast is sprayed. After the drying, the yoke is positioned and the magnetic field is created. At the same, time kerosene solution and magnetic powder are sprayed. The breakdown of the magnetic field force lines will show the surface and sub-surface discontinuities.
